ELDER-SPACES IInd Consortium MeetingThe ELDER-SPACES project second consortium meeting took place in Athens, Greece, on December 6-7, 2011. PRESS4TRANSPORT finishing line.On August 31 PRESS4TRANSPORT, the project coordinated by Cybion under the 7FP and financed by the European Commission, DG Research, came to its end. The initiative run over a period of 2 years providing European, national and regional SST related projects with a Virtual Press Office to disseminate and promote their results, news and events.

PRESS4TRANSPORT at CLEPA Technology Day 2010.The fourth CLEPA Technology Day, "Green technologies for tomorrow’s mobility”, took place in Autoworld in Brussels on 27 October 2010 and the spotlight in this year’s edition have been eSafety and electric cars (and regulation). CLEPA Technology Day is the forum for representatives from European Union Institutions to experience first-hand the latest technological advances created by CLEPA member organisations for the car of tomorrow and to hear how the automotive supplier industry complies with EU legislation on electro mobility, safety, environment, trade and IPR. PRESS4TRANSPORT, one of the projects CYBION is coordinating, actively participated to this successful event by sharing a booth with STARNET, one of its participating projects and by disseminating its free services to the attending audience. This year, also Mr Antonio Tajani, the Vice President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship as well as Ms Inés Ayala Sender, Member of the European Parliament, attended the CLEPA Technology Day.

PRESS4TRANSPORT now available on TRKC website!PRESS4TRANSPORT is now available on TRKC (Transport Research Knowledge Centre) website. The Transport Research Knowledge Centre serves as the European Union’s key resource for promoting the results of transport research activities at a European and national level. Now that the two platforms are connected, they will create a synergy for the communication of transport research information and will provide users with an additional service that will enforce the promotional campaign of national and regional transport results accross Europe. PRESS4TRANSPORT is an initiative supported by the European Commission and Cybion is participating as the Coordinator of the Consortium.
