On Thursday, December 2, 2011, CYBION participated to a seminar organized in Rome under the IV Seminars "IntFormatevi" Cycle, a training initiative promoted by SprintLazio and ex-ICE - Italian Ministry of Economic Development.

Cross-cultural management: focus on Japan and China
The meeting was promoted by SprintLazio and ex-ICE - Italian Ministry of Economic Development within their joined activities supporting the internazionalization of local manufacturing process and realized in collaboration with BIC Lazio and Unioncamere, partner of the EEN - Enterprise Europe Network. The seminar was addressed to businessmen and managers looking for new partnerships abroad with a deep knowledge of their products and business area but lacking knowledge in terms of cross-cultural management.
Professor Franco Mazzei, italian orientalist and expert on international relationships, former professor at Università degli Studi di Napoli "L’Orientale" and currently teaching at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome, showed a two sessions presentation during which he illustrated different issues such as the management of the cultural diversity in business, cultural variables and core values of the Confucian Asia, the skills needed by the cross-cultural manager.
